The Tofino Harbour Authority office has restricted access but we are open for commercial fishing vessels and local recreational boaters only. Staff is onsite to check on boats, answer emails, take payments and return telephone calls. Our facilities such as bathrooms and showers are closed to the Public at this time.
If you are coming down to the Harbour please remember to practice physical distancing. If you cannot stay 2m apart while working on your boat, please follow the health official rules and wear a mask. We have set up two hand sanitizing stations, one at the Crane and one at the top of the gangway. We also have soap at the fish cleaning stations so you can wash your hands.
TRANSIENT BOATERS: The Tofino Harbour Authority is not accepting transient recreational boats at any of our docks until further notice. We have essential service fisheries operating, as well as local off shore First Nations who need to use our facilities and we are working to keep them safe. Our small grocery store does not have the capability at this time to provide you with provisioning and if you fell sick or were hurt we only have a 10 bed hospital for the 7000 people in the area. We respectfully ask you to please reconsider a trip to remote communities at this time. If you do arrive at our docks and tie up you will be politely asked to leave, refusal to do so may result in tresspassing on Federal property charges.
Please email if you have any questions or concerns. The office telephone line will not be checked as often as the email. If you are down at the Harbour and there is an emergency please use the numbers provided on our Bulletin Board.
