The Tofino Harbour Authority is open for commercial fishing vessels and recreational boaters. Overnight transient vessels are still being restricted at our 4th street harbour at this time, please call or email to enquire about availability at Armitage Point (Crab Dock) as space is very limited. THA Staff is onsite 7 days a week, the office's main door is closed, please come to the side window to speak to staff. Our facilities, such as bathrooms and Showers, are coded and are restricted to Harbour Users only
To protect our comercial fishermen and recreational boaters access by the general public to Armitage Point (Crab Dock) and 4th Street for crabbing, fishing and strolling on the floats is not allowed at this time. We ask boat owners to please be aware of the space limitations on the floats and to limit time on them if possible. If someone is on the gangway please wait for them to exit before proceeding onto the gangway. Please do not congregate at the float ramp, arround the office or at the top or bottom of the gangway as other people need to access those areas.
If you are coming down to the Harbour to go out on a boat, work on your boat or purchase seafood please remember to practice physical distancing. If you cannot stay 2m apart please follow the health official rules and wear a mask.
We have set up three hand sanitizing stations, one at the Crane , one outside the bathrooms and one at the top of the gangway. We also have soap at the fish cleaning station. The 4th street faciity's high touch areas such as handrailings and wheelbarrows are sanitized several times a day for our harbour users protection.
TRANSIENT BOATERS: The Tofino Harbour Authority is not accepting transient overenight recreational boats at our 4th street docks until further notice. We have essential service fisheries operating, as well as local off shore First Nations who need to use our facilities and we are working to keep them safe. Please call or email us before arriving to confirm current availability at Armitage Point (Crab Dock) as the space is very limited.
Please email if you have any questions or concerns.
